Corry Evans Gets Into A Euro 2016 Team
Corry Evans has been in the news for different reasons.
For instance, playing the part of midfielder in Blackburn Rovers had noticed him for Euro 2016 training. He would be attending the training camp which will be held in Northern Ireland. The selection is definitely a great chance for him to be in shape and train up ahead of Euro 2016. Being 25 years of age, he will be joining several other international players of the team in Manchester for four days. Northern Ireland has become the first country to have won the right to participate in the European Championship qualifying rounds. Their name was drawn from a pot five. The team will be basing themselves in Dublin for a span of five days. Michael O’Neill will have his men heading home for a friendly match in Belfast to be held against Belarus. The game will be held at Windsor Park on May 27th.
The campaign of Euro 2016 for Northern Ireland will start from June 12. They would be taking on Poland and the match will be held in Nice. It would mark their first appearance in a European championship. It is definitely Corry’s big chance as well. They would get the chance to take part in a major final match after the last appearance in 1986 World Cup that had been held in Mexico. Corry has been able to impress his manager on the comeback he performed for Blackburn Rovers. Evans appeared first at Nottingham Forest where the game ended in a draw with a score of 1-1. He had been down prior to that as he suffered from a groin injury and had to be operated upon. The operation was definitely a success and he is back in top form. The team is enthusiastic about the form of the players as they gear up to Euro 2016.
