BLACKBURN ROVERS VS SHEFFIELD UNITED PREVIEW
Blackburn Rovers face Sheffield United on the weekend in what should be a routine win for the away team. Sheffield United have been impressive since manager Garry Monk took charge of the club earlier in the season and are currently in the promotion places.
Sheffield United have been unbeaten in their last four league games and will be looking to continue to this run of form against Blackburn.
Monk revealed during the pre-match conference that He was expecting a physical and tough challenge. Tony Mowbray is known for the way he sets up his team placing emphasis on physicality and positioning.
Blackburn have struggled to hit a run of form with the Ewood Park outfit currently sitting 17th in the league table ahead of the game. Mowbray’s men have not won since their victory against Reading in late September.
Blackburn will be hoping that the likes of Bradley Dack are able to pose trouble to the away team who are in form. The forward has been among the goals this season scoring six goals in the league so far.
Sheffield knows that they have to win games like this if they are to have any chance of winning promotion this season. Blackburn are also keen on winning the match as they look to get valuable three points from the game.
Blackburn have continued to show that on their good day, they are capable of winning matches. Mowbray is experienced and knows that this run of form is bound to change if the team can build on their home advantage. A win would push the home team from 17th into the midtable positions.
However, from the looks of things, it is highly unlikely that they claim a victory as Sheffield Wednesday look poised to win.
